Healthy fats are once again making waves as, just under two years after launching, The Good Fat Company is growing and expanding its reach. The Good Fat Company, primarily known for its production of keto-friendly products under the Love Good Fats1 brand, announced in December that they had secured $5 million in funding that would help enable them to launch a new product line for consumers.

A growing heavyweight in keto-friendly products

The Good Fat Company made its retail debut at Whole Foods Market across the U.S. in January with a 90-day exclusive on their popular Love Good Fats bars. Founder and CEO of The Good Fat Company, Suzie Yorke, 2 says, “The vision is to be a brand that changes how people eat. And we have a phenomenal product that we can’t keep on the shelves in Canada.”

Love Good Fats also launched two brand-new shake powders, which the company recommends dieters mix with cream for a truly keto-friendly product. This new line is just the first step in expanding Love Good Fats’ product range of high-fat, low-carb, and ultra-user-friendly foods. In the end, Yorke says the goal is to provide convenience, and they hope to launch a full portfolio encompassing both fresh and frozen options soon, as well.

A clear vision and product label

Ms. Yorke, a former performance athlete and marketing executive at Weight Watchers, is no stranger to the need for brands to facilitate consumers’ ability to adhere to healthy diet practices. As such, Love Good Fats plans to use only ingredients consumers can easily recognize as all-natural. Yorke says this means they plan to omit sugar alcohols, which are commonly used in both shakes and bars.

Ultimately, Yorke says their goal is to enhance and facilitate a healthy approach to a high-fat, low-carb lifestyle. She says, “A ketogenic or low-carb diet is, bar none, better for your health in the long term. That’s what the brand message really is: it’s okay to eat and love good fats and embrace that.”

You can find Love Good Fats products at Whole Foods Markets across the U.S. Additionally, free shipping is available for a limited time on all orders in the 48 contiguous states.
